Lighthall Vineyards is a low volume, high quality, family owned and operated winery. The primary focus is on our estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with sparkling wine, late harvest and icewine products coming online for our 2011 vintage. In addition, we source ultra-premium Cabernet Franc for our Rosé, and Gewürztraminer, from a special vineyard in Vineland. All our wines are produced in a non-interventionist manner.

The original owners Alice and Peter Mennacher planted the first 8 acres, and built the drive shed. This shed still stands, adorned by Peter's "Mucho Macho", a wood sculpture of a well-dressed man holding a glass of wine, created several years ago for Peter's yearly "Art of Wine" exposition at their gallery in South Bay. After purchasing the property in 2008, Glenn Symons expanded the vineyard plantings, and built both the winery and a comfortable house for the seasonal vineyard workers.

We endeavor to produce the highest quality wines, primarily from our own grapes, with all employees and family members involved in every step of production, including vineyard work through to final bottling. With our tasting bar inside the production area, we aspire to share this enriching experience with every customer that comes to visit.
